The Ordeal

Hi..I'm back after a week's battle with the flu bug. Its been a fighting week for me cos every night I had to overcome and battle against the agony and pain when my temp was 39+ C. To some points I even thought I would become an idiot if my temp continue to go up....I was so afraid of becoming mad. I cried out to the Lord during those times I suffered (hey I really did....this is not self pity ok) and I said "Lord, have mercy on me!"...with that I managed to fall asleep somehow. Having my temp @ 38+ had become a norm to me during the week.....finally at the 3rd attempt to rescue myself, I saw the doctor one last time (if this fails, I would get myself warded) and she changed all my medicine and ran my blood to test for dengue. Thank God for her.....the medicine worked splendidly and I was dengue free!!!
I had to miss my best friend's bdae celebration and I felt super miserable about it. The last thing I wanted to do was to stay at home to wait until I'm better. I missed church on Sunday too...O man...I didn't like this feeling.
I suspect that Prince Charming (my boss) passed the bug to me....but I have no proof so forget it, I'm not gonna get back at him. Afterall, it was a good and timely break for me as well from all the work. =)
